early 1990's, the media went crazy over the release of trading
cards featuring images of serial killers and mass murderers.
It was blasted on the news everywhere you turned. One of
the main series which featured coverage during this period
was Michael H. Price's BLOODY VISIONS: MASS MURDERER TRADING
CARDS, published by Shel-Tone Publications. This set
started the killer card controversy and featured all real
life mass murderers and serial killers. The series was researched,
written, and beautifully illustrated by noted author/artist
Michael H. Price, noted film critic, co-author of FORGOTTEN
HORRORS (a tome on lost horror films), creator of THE PROWLER
comic book series, and much more Shel-Tone is offering for
sale the actual original artwork by Michael H. Price artwork
used to produce the actual trading cards.
With each original
purchased, the buyer will receive one (1) set of BLOODY
VISIONS Trading Cards, where this card appeared. This
artwork is from the collection of artist Michael H. Price
and is being offered for the first time anywhere. Mr.
Price's artwork is exclusively represented to the collector's
market by Shel-Tone publications.
